I’ve never been a big canned beer fan but I’ve always been an IPA fan. And lately the IPA that’s been getting the bulk of my beer dollars is Dale’s Pale Ale.
Although not labeled as an IPA, Dale’s Pale Ale has enough packed-in hops to be one. Fresh, crisp, and eminently drinkable, DPA is a session beer that’s hard to be beat. After drinking this, most other beers just taste like water.
It just recently became available in Florida. If it’s not around your parts, do yourself a favor and ask for it by name. But given our Byzantine laws about alcohol in this country, you may be out of luck. In those cases, I suggest finely crafted brews from Harpoon, Avery, Stone, and Star Hill.

We had a keg of Dale’s for the racers at our last event – so refreshing. Nice choice!
